Rajasthan beats Punjab by 50 runs; Nehal Wadhera 62(41), Jofra Archer 3/25
Over a dozen platforms representing terminated teachers and unemployed individuals have announced a joint Nabanna Abhiyan on April 21. The decision was made public at a press conference where organizers confirmed the participation of 12–13 groups and said several others have extended support.
Protestors said they have held multiple joint demonstrations earlier but received no response from the administration. They blamed government inaction for the loss of jobs among trained teachers and education workers. “We’ve held several joint programmes before. But no positive role has come from the administration,” one speaker said.
One protestor added, “We thought the Chief Minister was humane, but she is inhumane. Due to government indifference, teachers and education workers have lost jobs. I’m also a victim of this injustice. We now want real answers and implementation, not more promises.”
